Lara Garfinkel is a senior legal adviser with over 25 years' of experience in not-for-profit, corporate and commercial law.
She worked for many years managing the pro bono practice at global law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills, assisting hundreds of charities and not-for-profits to achieve their objectives.
Lara has particular interest and expertise in risk management and good corporate governance in the 'for purpose' sector. Her experience in sitting on not-for-profit boards and acting as company secretary means she understands the challenges faced by associations and is able to provide easy to understand and practical advice.
